Clarivate Analytics has released the report “Highly Cited Researchers 2018”. Scientists named Highly Cited Researchers are among an elite group recognized for exceptional research performance demonstrated by production of multiple highly cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and year in Web of Science.
Among 4,058 researchers, Prof. Peidong Yang is named as Highly Cited in three fields (Chemistry, Materials Science, and Physics). Only 24, or 0.6% of Highly Cited Researchers appear in three fields. They are a group remarkable in both output and impact. The high level of performance of these two dozen warrants special recognition as citation superstars.
